Nick Lascuola won his fourth race out of the last five at Seekonk
(Mass.) Speedway on Friday night.
Then he ended up second as officials penalized him a position for jumping a start.
“I guess they were trying to tell me on the radio but I never heard them,” Nick explained
afterward. “But I’m not going to raise a fuss about it. I’ll have to watch myself going
forward. I’m glad for Joey to get a win. We’re good friends and he’s fun to race with
because he races me clean. We’ll take second and I’ll pay more attention next time.”
With a smile, he added, “They would call this a good points day, right?”
