Nick Lascuola Set for Cancer Walk; Seekonk Practice Session

Nick Lascuola will continue his charitable work by participating in a
5K walk/run for Pancreatic Cancer Research this Sunday, April 28th in Westborough,
Massachussetts.

“I am looking forward to the opportunity to raise awareness of and money for
Pancreatic Cancer Research,” Nick said. “I was made aware of this event by a friend
and I jumped at the chance to participate. I am asking my fans and friends who are
able if they would visit the event’s website and donate whatever they can to this
cause. My goal is to raise at least $500. I appreciate everything everyone will do to
help make a difference with this.”

The website for the event and for donations is
http://13westboroughwalkrun.kintera.org.

Nick and his team are also preparing for the two-day season opener at Seekonk
Speedway in Seekonk, Mass. On Saturday, May 4th he’ll practice his INEX Legends
Car for the final time before the green flag drops on the first race of his season the
next day.

This will be the first year in which Nick competes as a Pro-Class racer. “We won
enough last year that INEX re-classified us from Young Lions to Pro,” Nick smiled. “It
really doesn’t make a huge difference at Seekonk because all the classes race
together. But the points are tallied separately, so you can finish third on the track
and still be first in your class if you’re the first car in your class across the line. We’re
going after the Pro Class championship this year for sure.”
